James Herriot’s Favorite Dog Stories

When I decided I wanted to be a vet, James Herriot wrote in his introduction to this volume – his very last completed piece of writing – I knew that I wanted to be a dog doctor, so I could spend all my time with dogs. As everyone knows, James Herriot became much more than a dog doctor. But no animal was dearer to his heart, and no animal provided him with more heartwarming and wonderful tales, than man’s best friend.
