The Bushing fits into the bottom of the bowl from the inside of the bowl, and screws into the Nut part that is below the bowl. If your Nut is plastic and is in good condition, then you can reuse your existing Nut. However, if your Nut is of the old stainless steel type, then in order to use the new Bushing from this page, you will need to order a new nut. The reason for this is that the old stainless steel Nut had different threads and is not compatible with the current-production replacement Bushing.
