Key Features
The Star of Bethlehem was first printed in 1889 by Reubush, Kieffer & Co. It was compiled by J. H. Hall, J. H. Ruebush, and Aldine S. Kieffer, descendents of Joseph Funk, publisher of the popular Harmonia Sacra. In 1969 a new edition was published with revisions by John C. Rhodes and Joseph G. Beery. They subsequently reprinted it five more times. At the request of John C. Rhodes, Vision Publishers agreed to publish it. No changes have been made to the book. These readings were written by more than 100 male authors from many walks of life (carpenters, writers, farmers, church leaders, administrators, school teachers, and others too numerous to mention).
