German – God and Uncle Dale

Manchmal scheint Gottes Weg fast zu hart zu sein. Wie würdest du antworten, wenn Gott dich gebeten hat, zwischen ihm und deinen Freunden zu wählen? Deine Kirche? deine Familie? Deine Verlobte? Aus der Perspektive des gemeinsamen Mannes der Welt war 1960 die Zeit – politisch, sozial, finanziell und geistig. Aus der christlichen Perspektive aber war es eine Zeit der Katastrophe – so viele Menschen verloren ihre Überzeugungen und ihren Glauben. Die Welt und die Kirche fuhren in einem atemberaubenden Tempo von Gott weg Aber die Welt war so faszinierend, dass sich einige Sorgen um die christliche Perspektive machten. Dale und Shelia symbolisieren Dutzende von Jugendlichen in vielen verschiedenen Zeiten und Orten, die im Wirbel der spirituell abnehmenden Kirchen gefangen wurden. Durch Gottes Gnade fanden einige ihren Weg, aber viele erliegen dem Druck. From the Christian perspective, however, it was a time of catastrophe – so many people were losing their convictions and their faith. The world and the church were traveling away from God at a breathtaking pace. But the world was so fascinating that few worried about the Christian perspective. Dale and Shelia symbolize dozens of youth in many different times and places who were caught in the vortex of spiritually declining churches. By God’s grace, some found their way, but many succumbed to the pressure. Live the difficult experiences with Dale and the others in the story to gain a new appreciation for the church and her leaders who stood for truth and righteousness then, as well as for those who still stand today.
