Imagine unwrapping it and taking your first bite. What could be better than that?

What is better than candy?
Heaven is! It is a wonderful place that God has made for people who love Him.1 The Bible tells us it is a place where everyone is always happy, a place with no sickness or crying or pain.2 It is a very beautiful place, where it will never be dark or scary.3 And it lasts forever!

That’s great! How do I get there?
You can’t get to Heaven in a car or bus, or even an airplane or spaceship. You can’t buy a ticket to Heaven, and you can’t sneak in when no one is watching. There is only one way to get to Heaven, and Jesus is that way.4

We need help to get to Heaven. You might need help tying your shoes, or maybe that’s easy for you. What about opening a jar of pickles? Or reaching something on the top shelf? No matter how big or strong you get, there will always be things you need help with. Going to Heaven is one of those things, and Jesus is the only one who can help us get there.5

Why is Jesus so special?
In the Bible we learn that Jesus is the Son of God.6 Jesus did many amazing things like
making storms disappear, walking on water, and even raising people from the dead. He is also the only person who has lived their entire life without doing anything wrong.7

The rest of us have done lots of bad things. Maybe you have taken candy that wasn’t yours or told a lie.8 Because Heaven is a perfect place, we can’t go there unless those bad things are forgiven by God.9

How can Jesus help us?
Jesus took the punishment for all of the bad things we have ever done.10 The Bible tells us how Jesus suffered in our place when He died on a cross.11 Then, on the third day after He died, Jesus rose from the dead and went back to Heaven.12 He did all this for us because He loves us and wants us to be in Heaven with Him.13

Will you be in Heaven?
Heaven is a great place, but do you know for sure that you will be there? The Bible makes it very clear that to get there we must:

realize we are not good enough
turn to God for help
trust what Jesus did for us
When you ask God to make you ready for Heaven, He will forgive all the bad things you have ever done.14 He will give you a new heart that wants to do what’s right.15 And when your time on earth is over, He will welcome you into Heaven.16 That is so much better than candy!
