Bolly Weddle

Bolly Weddle is the story of a back woods boy, who in the early post civil war years leaves his mountain home and arrives in the city of St. Louis. Being sole provider for his six siblings and widowed mother compels him to work hard early and late. Perhaps the hardest work of all was finding work that would earn a nickel or two.
But Bolly prevails. No amunt of deprivation or ridicule can daunt his spirits for long. His perseverance and honesty pay off handsomely and he mangaes to provide quite well for everyone.
