Brookside Farm Stories

Brookside Farm was a busy place. Father said that money was hard to come by, so the family worked the farm with horses and wore clothes made from feed-sacks. But that didn’t matter to Sharon. Life was full and interesting, from berry picking to threshing time. Even though she wasn’t very big, she still had plenty to do. Sharon’s family faced times of trouble and times of pleasure.
