For many of us, “winter” means months of long, dark nights and cold, damp days. Winter can be a challenging season, one of barrenness and bleakness. Is there beauty in the commonplace days of this season?

In this issue, we gather around candlelit tables, on snowy woodland trails, and in cozy living rooms to look for the unique goodness that is tucked away in winter’s monotony.

With content divided into two sections, “in solitude” and “together”, this issue invites you to do the personal, and communal work of cultivating creativity, coziness, reflection, and wonder in the quiet places of winter.
