This is a gripping tale of the fastest dog of them all. Tawny gave promise of becoming a great racing greyhound, but the track world did not satisfy his love of freedom. When he found himself alone on the desert, his speed, courage and adaptability overcame thirst and hunger and taught him how to deal with sand, rattlesnake and javelina.
