Fabric of Endurance

With the darkness of WWII behind them, Sheldon Grover and his beautiful wife, Mary Ellen, had what seemed to be a secure future as farmers in central California. But in less then twenty-four hours, their world collapsed as Sheldon was stricken with polio, a disease that killed or paralyzed many people in the 1940s and 1950s.

How does a healthy young man cope with such a hardship? How can God bring beauty out of a broken situation?
