A homeless girl longs for someone she can trust. Grades 4-7.
Easy read, probably for ages 10+. Skim over it first before allowing your child to read it, however. Especially if your child is adopted or a welfare child. Jenny is resentful at first, but it is very touching to see how her heart is turned toward the farmer and his wife.
