There was a yell from above and the fellow with the bucket of paste pitched down the stairway. As though it had been hurled deliberately at the head of the German boss in the hall. the contents of the bucket splattered over him. Sprawling like a frog diving from a high bank, the fellow with the bucket followed the shower of paste, plunging headfirst into the sturdy German boss.
