There are more than 8 activities to explore on the 5 sides of the cube, including: 1 metal xylophone with mallet, 1 scraper, 1 convex mirror, 1 looping toy, 4 wooden pieces (flower, nut, dragonfly and leaf) to fit onto the top or use with the shape sorter activity on the side, 1 descender with a reel that rings the bell and cymbals as it passes, and finally 1 frog that goes up and down and makes the sun turn. The side with the shaper sorter has a magnetic door that opens to retrieve the pieces inside. Note that the plastic hinges are easy to reattach if the door comes off.
