Trappers of The Ozarks

Two young men, farmers by trade, decide to supplement their income by taking a trapping trip into the wilds. They go into Ozarks country where white man has seldom been. The timing of the trip coincides with the time that congress again declares war on Great Britian, which developed into the war of 1812.
Indians that were considered friendly are now hostile. And if they manage to elude the hostile Indians, they must still be always on the lookout for the ferociously wild beasts of the time.
WIll they manage soemhow? Will they see their families and loved ones again? Will they be able to safely bring their canoe-loads of salt, furs, hides and more, the hundreds of miles through unsettled territory to the place called home?
