A Beaver’s Story

Haloka, with four fatherless kits to take care of, is befriended by Akella, the largest, sleekest, handsomest beaver she had ever seen. Together they build their lodge-a fascinating feat of engineering- and struggle through a disastrous flood that sweeps it away.
