The Call of the SSS -Revised

War… The U.S. under attack… A draught…

For twenty-year-old Ed, the future never looked scarier. He knew his past, and he figured the draught board might know it, too.

“Your mother and I share your concern,” his father told him. “But we are so thankful for the change you’ve made and the sincerity we see in you. God is still on the throne; He rules over everything. Let’s trust Him to be with us through whatever may come.”

The Call of the SSS is a fictional story showing us what could happen were a draught to be enacted, and a stark reminder for us all—especially youth—that the “small” things do matter. The world is watching.

But more importantly, it reminds us that someday we will all stand before a “draught board”… where the King of kings will decide whether or not we’re worthy to be called a conscientious objector.
